On Tuesday, April 26th, we had the privilege to present the draft of our booklet to Santiago DeWaele, who works as a head technical team of the Triennale of Brugge.
On Wednesday in the morning, we had a text discussion about the book of Rem Koolhaas: elements - Ramp. Also an introduction to the next workshop (the design period), where Santiago DeWaele introduces the topic of the workshop and explain how it will be possible to use the french cleat to build our ramp that will connect and make accessible the mezzanine with the second floor.
After the introduction of the workshop, we were invited by Vibeke to do a quick exercise about our first design idea, using a small piece of white paper to represent our ramp in a very abstract way.
In the afternoon we had a lecture with Santiago DeWaele called "Creating outside of the box", where he explained to us the techniques their team use to make possible the spaces and installations of the architects/artists for the Triennale of Brugge.
On Thursday we had our last text discussion about the article of Pier Vittorio Aureli, and the correction of the booklet, where we got great feedback from Vibeke and how to continue our work.
